Pollinator Seed Program Application

Apply below to receive free native wildflower seeds for your Bitterroot Valley property. All species are native to our area and specialized for our local climate.

🌱 Supplies are limited. Seed is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Completing all fields helps us match the right seed mix to your site.
Please describe site history, species of existing vegetation, soil condition, and any irrigation options.
When do you expect the site to be prepared and ready for seeding?
e.g. Tilling, weed removal, herbicide application, mowing, etc. Let us know if prep is already done or still in progress.
Participants help BCD track pollinator activity and seed establishment across the valley.

Pollinator seed is expensive! For Bitterroot Conservation District to be able to continue providing free seed to the public, applicants must commit to performing adequate site preparation and ongoing plot maintenance to help establish their planting. This includes proper weed control, soil preparation before seeding, and monitoring the plot during its establishment period.
